OCMA Officers, Trustees, Key Contacts, Environmental Affairs & HR Committee & Members:

As previously announced, on Thursday, March 8, 2007, OCMA will sponsor a Safety & Health Workshop at Ashland Casting Solutions in Dublin. The workshop will be held in Room 1-A. The workshop will address those key areas outlined by OSHA Assistant Director Nancy Newman, Cleveland Office, that will be closely scrutinized under the OSHA Local Emphasis Program (LEP). Those would include melt deck, sintering, material handling, air contaminants including silica, PPE, and OSHA required programs e.g. respirator. lockout/tagout. (Please see attached agenda.)

OCMA Vice President for Environmental Affairs Dennis Baker, Flowserve Corporation, will be joined by Mike Trzecinski, VP, EMSCO Inc., a representative from Allied Minerals, Bob Scholz, RMT, Inc. and someone from Steve Wilson's safety team at Flowserve Corporation Corporate Office. These are outstanding presenters who will prepare you well for your LEP inspection.
