OCMA Objectives

The OCMA was formed to promote the advancement and growth of the Ohio Metal Casting Industry. OCMA's objectives are as follows:

To inform OCMA members about regulatory or legislative developments that could affect their business.

To maintain an active organization of all Ohio metal casters and suppliers who speak for the State's cast metals industry.

To support and assist the American Foundrymen's Society and other metal casting organizations on federal regulations and legislation.

To support a bi-partisan approach to legislation in the best interest of the industry, working with other organizations and interest groups to enhance or protect the metal casting industry in Ohio.

To maintain a team of industry witnesses to offer expert testimony before state legislative committees and regulatory bodies.

To present the metal casting industry's position on legislation and regulations affecting Ohio's metal casters.

To investigate and promote new opportunities for improving the "bottom line" of Ohio's metal casters.

OCMA is the only organization that is dedicated to the economic improvement of Ohio metal casters. In a few short years, OCMA has demonstrated its value to Ohio's metal casting industry and its ability to represent our industry before government officials. We are a pro-active, problem-solving organization, using a volunteer "workforce" of the best and the brightest among Ohio's foundry leaders to promote and protect our industry. To continue our success, we need the support of all of Ohio metal casters and their suppliers.
