Membership has stabilized at approximately 75 members comprised of foundries
and their suppliers after devastating losses in 2000-2001 and the Great Recession.
Membership includes both large and small metal casting operations. Large facilities
include the GM-Powertrain Defiance Casting plant which is the largest in the
world as well as the Clow Water Systems plant in Coshocton, the Honda of America
Manufacturing Co., Inc. Anna engine plant, and the Columbus Castings Company.
Small metal casting companies with fewer than 50 employees include The Blanchester
Foundry Co., Inc., Piqua Champion Foundry, Inc., and Tri-Cast Ltd.
Membership also includes familiar company names not necessarily recognized
as suppliers to the metal casting industry. These include ASK Chemicals formerly
Ashland Chemical as well as non-household names such as Fairmount Minerals
Ltd., Foseco Metallurgical, Inc., HA - International, LLC, Hill & Griffith
Company, and Keener Sand & Clay Company.
